IELTS聽力橫聽筆記場景-相貌(Appearance)
描述人物相貌特征的場景，即相貌場景是IELTS的一個考點，這個考點僅出現在Section1中，根據統計結果，在過去已經考過的Version中，有3個Version考到了
相貌場景，它們分別是：Version 23的Section 1; Version 25的Section 1; Version 31的Section 1。下面首先介紹一下這三個Version的具體考
點：
Version 23: 兩名強盜搶劫了一位老婦人，證人向警察描述兩個罪犯的特征，證人
描述the young thief was 17 years old, curly black hair, tall and slim，whereas the elder thief was 35 years old, the distinguished feature was
a small scar in his chin.
Version 25: Alex向一個男孩描述她的祖母：Alex’s grandmother came from Russia and she was a dancer，her appearance was blond hair and beautiful.
Version 31: 要求考生選出一個男生的特征，文章說他wear glasses and with beard and moustache
這個考點常見的題型為填空題和選擇題(包括文字選擇和圖形選擇)。為了在這部
分上不失分，考生一定要熟悉常見的描述人物相貌特征的辭彙以及常用的表達方式。
主要的特征類別包括年紀、體型、面部特征、頭發、著裝等。下面分別對這些類別
加以描述。
年紀：young(年輕的),old(年長的), years old(歲數)
體型：tall(高)，high(高),short(矮), small (矮小的)，fat(胖)，
stocky(結實的)，slim(瘦的), thin(瘦的)，slender(苗條的)，
medium-built(中等身材的)。Beautiful(漂亮的), 170 centimeters tall
(讀作one metre seventy-five，170cm高)。同時大家應記住這些詞合理的組
合方式，比如tall and slim，不應該是short and slim。
面部特征： beard(下巴上的胡子)and moustache(上唇的胡子),
clean-shaven(胡子刮得很幹凈)，dimple(酒窩), scar(疤痕)，
chin(下巴)。註意這些詞的相互搭配。比如a small scar in his chin。常佩戴的東西有jewelry(珠寶)，hat(帽子)和glasses(眼鏡)。
頭發：curly black hair(卷曲的黑色頭發), blond hair(金發), pigtail(辮子), wavy hair(卷發), straight hair(直發), short hair(短發)
